Monthly submissions are only one limit
Jotform Starter limits form count, monthly submissions, and total stored submissions separately. Even an account collecting 80 responses a month can reach the 500 stored-submission limit over time. Attachments also draw on the 100 MB storage allowance. [1]
List active forms, expected monthly volume, retention needs, and attachment sizes before comparing plans. FormPico’s local browser storage is not an equivalent hosted allowance or a replacement for a production service.
A payment field is not a payment workflow
Jotform lists payment integrations, 10 monthly payment submissions, and 10 monthly signed documents in Starter. A form allowance does not settle payment-processor charges; assess those separately. [1]
FormPico’s currency field does not initiate a charge, and its signature field uses typed confirmation. Those preview controls cannot serve as live payment or signing services for a registration fee or a contract process.
Let business complexity guide the decision
A simple request form may only need contact details, a description, and a priority choice. Use FormPico to reduce the field list, test required answers and formats, and inspect CSV columns with sample responses.
Files, money, multiple operators, and downstream automation need an end-to-end product assessment. This article is not a full operational test of every Jotform plan. Verify the integrations and permissions your own workflow needs before launch.
Team access needs its own review
Jotform distinguishes single-user individual plans from its multiuser Enterprise platform. A team needs to check seats, access boundaries, and data handoffs in addition to response allowances. [1]
FormPico’s workspaces currently organize forms within a browser. They do not provide production team permissions. Moving a form to a workspace does not grant colleagues managed access to it.
Three checks before switching
- Inventory stored responses, files, payments, signatures, and forms together.
- Export the responses and attachments you need, then check whether the export meets your retention needs.
- Rebuild a design sample without payment or attachment dependencies in FormPico. Keep the working Jotform collection flow.
